Using these guidelines, make a plan for quitting your drug use.The very first thing you need is a support system. You can check out my suggestions for finding support, and start looking for your support network.Making a plan is essential and if you cannot find a friend or family member willing to help you, then consider using my coaching service. Next, Take a look at the questionnaire, which will make you think about your drug use and how you use the drugs. Then, using the questionaire as a guideline, make a list of the things you will need for your Drug Abandonment Ritual. Now, gather together the things that you need. If you do this part well, it will really increase your chances of success. If possible get the help of your support network and/or family. They may not be aware of how much the ritual is a part of drug use. Maybe you can get them to read the information on drug rituals so that they understand what you are trying to do.
Set up your ritual. As with your drug use, the Drug Abandonment Ritual (DAR) items should ONLY be used when you are feeling the urge or need to use drugs. At other times they should be put away just as you put away your drug paraphernalia.
Gather up all of your old drug paraphernalia into one place.
Put the box in safe place. Give it to a friend or put it in the attic. This box contains your past and your signature is your promise to yourself that you are creating a NEW LIFE for yourself.
