Did you know that Marijuana is actually a psychoactive drug?

marijuana plant Marijuana can be smoked in a pipe or rolled like a cigarette, (known as a joint), packed inside a hollowed out cigar (known as a blunt), or smoked in a water pipe called a bong. It may be smoked alone or with other things for a bigger high. It may also be ingested.
It is interesting to note that many people still think of Marijuana as the harmless weed they smoked in the '60's, however, the Marijuana today is much more potent than anything available 40 years ago.

Symptoms of use are:

  • Raised pulse
  • Raised blood pressure
  • Red/bloodshot Eyes
  • Pupils probably normal
  • Temperature normal
  • Euphoria
  • Increased appetite
  • Laughter/Giggly
  • Slowness
  • Tiredness/sleepiness
  • Difficulty concentrating
  • Sense of time can be altered

Heavy Use:
All the above plus

  • Cough/upper respiratory problems
  • Nausea
  • Agitation/anxiety/panic attacks
  • Loss of coordination
  • Short term memory loss
  • Confusion

Special Dangers
High doses, especially if taken orally can result in:

  • Hallucinations,
  • Very rapid heart rate,
  • Extreme confusion,
  • Memory loss.
After effects can last for up to six weeks.
All states are reporting an upswing in joints being soaked in 'embalming fluid'.
It is unclear if this is indeed actual embalming fluid or PCP in liquid form. Either way the effects are disastrous. Embalming fluid (formaldehyde) is EXTREMELY CARCINOGENIC.

Symptoms are:

  • Hallucinations/hearing voices
  • Delusions
  • Violence
  • Impaired vision
  • Sudden switch from apathy to violence

Symptoms of long term use:

  • Convulsions
  • Cough
  • High blood pressure
  • Damage to brain/kidneys/lungs/spinal cord
  • Coma and death
