PTSD OverviewIt has become more and more obvious that PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) is becoming a huge problem in America. With so many of our Service men and women returning from active duty with PTSD and TBI's (Traumatic Brain Injury) we have a whole generation of young people who are struggling with severe problems. Not only does it affect the victim but the family gets torn apart, often permanently.
I have put together a long list of things which are known to have a positive effect on PTSD/TBI.
Finally I need to add a disclaimer. I am NOT a physician so although everything listed here is in good faith, no guarantee is given. Some of these things I have personal experience with and I have tried to note that where applicable. Please understand that these are suggestions only and it is up to you to determine if these things are of value in your particular situation. If you understand and agree with my disclaimer, please move on to the PTSD Information page. |
